Terms of use

How the checker works, and what stays your job.

These terms describe the product as it behaves today.

Status of these terms

What the service is

The service is a claims checker and review record for healthcare marketing text. You paste text. It compares the text with a published, versioned set of rules and shows where the wording matches a rule, with the rule's reason, source and suggested wording. You can then record who approved the exact text and export a record of the check.

What it is not

  • It is not legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created.
  • It does not certify, approve or guarantee that any content is lawful, and a result with no findings does not mean the content is acceptable.
  • It checks wording against its rules only. It does not check whether a claim is true, and it does not check images, video, audio, layout or anything you did not paste.
  • Its rules cover a limited set of laws, guidance and platform policies. The coverage and limitations pages, and every exported record, say what is not covered. State rules run only for the states you select.
  • Rules are written from public sources, and laws and guidance change. Rules can be out of date or wrong. The rule-set version and its last-reviewed date are shown in the product and in every record.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for everything you publish, for the evidence behind any claim, for patient authorizations and consents, and for review by your own qualified counsel and compliance staff where the law or your policies require it. Approving text in the checker is your decision.

Do not paste protected health information or other personal information about patients.

Your content

The rule check runs in your browser, and we don't receive the text. The AI second read sends your text to Anthropic with your own API key when you run it. That is a separate service under Anthropic's terms. The security page has the details.

Records you export

An exported record contains your text, the findings, any proofs, overrides and approval you entered, the rule-set version, and a signature made with a key stored in your browser. The signature shows the file was not changed after it was made. It does not show who you are, or that the content is lawful. The timestamp comes from your own device.

Fees

We are not charging. If that changes, the price will be published on the pricing page first.

Next step

Read what the checker can't do before you rely on it.

The limitations page lists every gap. If anything here needs to change before you can use the checker, tell us.
